What is the Starstruck Badge?
The Starstruck badge is awarded to maintainers when one of their repositories reaches a specific milestone of Stars. Unlike the "Pull Shark" or "Quickdraw" badges, this one depends entirely on the community’s reaction to your code.

📈 The Tiers
The badge evolves as your project grows:

Bronze: 16 Stars

Silver: 128 Stars

Gold: 512 Stars

Platinum (2026 Edition): 1024+ Stars

🚀 Step-by-Step: How to get it
You don't "apply" for the badge; GitHub’s automated system grants it once the threshold is met. Here is how to make your EiJack Lab "Star-worthy":

1. The "First Impression" (README)
   People star repositories they intend to use later or that they find inspiring.

Use clear headings (##).

Add a "Quick Start" guide.

Pro-Tip: Include a "Why I built this" section to connect with users.

2. Open Graph Images (Social Preview)
   When you share your repo on social media or in this community, GitHub generates a preview.

Go to Settings > General > Social preview.

Upload a custom image (like a 2026 Lab logo). Repos with custom previews get 3x more clicks.

3. Tagging (Topics)
   Make your repo discoverable. If you built a NumberGuess game, add tags like #cpp, #game, and #learning.

Go to the "About" section on your repo home page.

Add up to 20 relevant topics.

We made the decision to disable the ability to earn Achievements in our Community in order to discourage users from participating in coordinated or inauthentic activity like rapid questions and answers in order to earn badges.
