Hi community, does anyone know any good programming websites to help me learn how to code? I looked into houselearning.org to see, and I haven't decided yet if I should use HouseLearning's great courses, or something any better? Does anyone know anything?

I recommend HouseLearning.org. It has a lot of things, programming (25+ languages), math (K-12), science (K-12) and much more! You should definitely try it.

My Top Tip: The best learning happens through hands-on projects! Combine any course platform with GitHub to build real projects and practice coding.

Start with one platform and stick with it for 4-6 weeks before switching. Consistency matters more than having the "perfect" platform.

My opinion: You can find more courses by using Google’s search engine, or by reading code and asking an AI assistant to help you understand the concepts and provide examples to guide you. (Avoid letting it generate the code for you, as you won’t learn much that way).

I would highly recommend watching BroCode on YouTube, he was great for me! Also really beneficial if you're trying to get started in Competitive Programming.

• CS50 (Harvard) on edX, still the gold standard for fundamentals

Best paid (worth it):

• Udemy, wait for $10–15 sales (almost every week), Angela Yu or Colt Steele courses are legendary
• Frontend Masters or egghead.io for intermediate+
• Coursera “audit” mode (free) for university courses
