I am experiencing an issue where my commits made in my organization's repositories are not appearing in my GitHub profile contributions graph.

Steps Taken:

• I have verified that my Git user email matches my GitHub-verified email using git config --list.

• My organization commits are being pushed to the correct branches in the repositories.

• I have enabled “Include private contributions on my profile” under Settings → Profile.

• My GitHub organization membership is public under Settings → Organizations.

• I have checked that my commits are attributed to my GitHub account by running:

On March 26th, I initially made three commits in my organization's repository. However, my GitHub profile shows only one commit instead of all three in the contributions chart. This issue seems inconsistent, as sometimes contributions appear this way and other times they don't.

Between March 9th and March 15th, I made multiple commits in my organization’s repository. However, these commits do not appear in my GitHub profile contribution graph. Instead, the graph only displays commits from my private personal repositories, while my organization contributions are missing.

I would like my commits to properly display in my GitHub contributions graph, private repositories within my organization.
Could you please help me identify why my organization commits are not being counted as contributions and how I can resolve this issue?

You need to go to your Profile settings page, https://github.com/settings/profile, then under Contributions & activity, check Include private contributions on my profile, then Update Preferences.

Should the organization's membership be made public?

Yes, GitHub only tracks contributions in your profile when commits are made on the default branch. Now the bug was fix

Commit is Not on the Default Branch.

• Contributions only count if the commit is on the repository’s default branch (main, master, or gh-pages), or if a pull request is merged into the default branch.
• Fix: Check the repository’s default branch (Settings → Branches), and make sure your commit is either directly on that branch or merged into it.
