Background
Skills currently rely on manual setup/import, which makes discovery and installation costly.
We plan to integrate with an existing mature Skill marketplace to quickly access reusable Skill assets.
Goal
Provide an in-product Skill marketplace flow that supports: search -> preview -> one-click download/install -> enable.
Core Requirements
- Integrate with an external Skill marketplace (prioritize mature and stable ecosystems)
- Support Skill browsing, keyword search, and category filtering
- Provide a Skill details page (description, version, author, permissions, last updated)
- Support one-click download/install with clear status feedback
- Support version management (update, rollback, uninstall)
- Support basic security checks (source validation, permission prompts, risk warnings)
Acceptance Criteria
- Users can discover and install external Skills inside the product
- Installation success rate and failure reasons are observable
- Installed Skills are immediately usable in existing workflows
- Update and uninstall flows work reliably
