This usually happens when the billing system hasn’t fully updated yet. Even if you just paid, GitHub can temporarily show your Copilot Pro plan as expired until the payment is fully processed on their side. A few simple things to try: • Double check your Billing & plans page to confirm the payment actually went through If everything looks paid but it’s still locked after a few hours, I’d contact GitHub Support and include a screenshot of the payment confirmation. They can manually fix it if the subscription didn’t sync properly. Most of the time it’s just a short billing delay. Hope this helps 🙌 |

I paid for my copilot pro 10USD on Thursday 26th 2026 and on Friday 27th I could not use it, citing the reason below
