GitHub Sponsors org payouts stuck 105+ days (beyond 60-day terms) + support tickets unanswered

Hi,

My GitHub Sponsors payouts for the org @seriallabs seem to be stuck.

The first sponsorship started on Nov 6, 2025, and there's still not been any payout 105+ days later. There’s also no payout history at all.

The Sponsors Additional Terms say:

“For first payments, GitHub will remit … 60 days after the first sponsorship is initiated …”

But in my dashboard, “Estimated next payout” still just shows the generic probation / up to 90 days message (no date, no payout initiated), even though we’re well past both 60 and 90 days.

I opened a support ticket (#4035595) on Jan 23, 2026 and followed up on Feb 4, 2026, still no response.

This is now several thousand dollars (not insignificant), and I just need to know what’s going on.

Could you please clarify:

• Is the probation period 60 or 90 days (and why does the UI still say 90 when the terms say 60)?
• When can I expect the accumulated funds to be released?

That’s understandably concerning, especially given the amount involved.

A few important clarifications about GitHub Sponsors payouts:

1. 60 days vs. 90 days

The 60-day reference in the Sponsors Additional Terms typically applies to the earliest point at which first payments may be remitted.

However, newly approved Sponsors accounts can be subject to:

• An onboarding / compliance review period
• Identity and tax verification checks
• Fraud-prevention holds

The UI showing “up to 90 days” reflects the broader probation window that can apply before payouts are initiated. In some cases, additional internal review can extend processing beyond the standard window.

2. No payout history yet

If there is:

• No payout scheduled
• No payout record at all
• No communication from Support

Then this is not something the community can resolve. Only GitHub’s Sponsors/Finance team can access payout hold status.

3. What to do next (since ticket is unanswered)

Given:

• Ticket #4035595 is already open
• It has been over 100 days since first sponsorship
• The amount is significant

I recommend:

• Reply to the same ticket (do not open duplicates)
• Clearly label the message: “Sponsors payout >100 days pending – escalation requested”
• Reference the specific clause in the Additional Terms
• Include the org handle (@seriallabs) and first sponsorship date (Nov 6, 2025)

If the organization is part of an Enterprise plan, an Enterprise admin can also escalate through their account manager.

Unfortunately, community moderators here do not have access to Sponsors payout systems.

At 105+ days with no payout history, this warrants direct review by the Sponsors team. I hope this gets escalated and resolved quickly.
