hello , please how do i take it out the .git from my documents in the repository, my profesor can't read my work #182213

Hi! To remove Git from your project so your professor can read it, just delete the .git folder in your project. On Windows, show hidden files to see it; on Mac/Linux, you can run rm -rf .git in the terminal. After that, your files will be normal and ready to share. |

If your professor just needs to read the files, you don’t actually need to remove Git. The .git folder only stores version history — it doesn’t affect your documents. Two simple options: • Download as ZIP from the repository (Code → Download ZIP) and send that. The .git folder won’t be included. Important: Don’t manually delete random files inside .git. Either remove the whole folder or just export as ZIP. That should solve it 👍 |
